A favorite both modern and traditional, Blanquette de Veau frequently tops the charts of popular French gastronomy. Veal is simmered in velouté, a savory sauce of roux and stock. The delightful braise is served on white rice with mushrooms, onions, and carrots, and is ready to serve quicker than you can say “Julia Child” – give or take 15 minutes!
This dish is proudly made in New York by Bec Fin, exclusively from All Natural and carefully selected ingredients, like the one you would use at home. Bec Fin manufactures handmade award-winning charcuterie and French and European dishes sold to the tri-state finest hotels, restaurants, and select gourmet stores.

Delicious entree
Review by Olivier S. on 28 May 2022 review stating Delicious entree
Very good flavor, and a good portion of meat.
I recommend draining most/all of the water that collects following thawing, as to not do so will result in a more "watery" dish.
Also, the oven heating time will need to be significantly longer than recommended. Closer to 25 - 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

This was really delicious and enough for two meals. The sauce is gluten free and amazing as are the sweet onions. The meat portion is very generous. Great buy!
